Membership Advisor (Full Time Fitness Sales)

The Membership Advisor (Fitness Sales) position is responsible for attainment of personal sales quotas in a manner that fosters member retention. The position involves inside membership sales activities including, but not limited to: self-generation of new membership leads, booking and confirming appointments by phone or internet, conducting center tours, presenting rates, asking for the sale, handling objections, following-up with prospects who did not join. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, generating retail and corporate referrals; participating in internal and external marketing and networking activities to achieve required lead generation targets. Must be a team player who works cooperatively with co-worker to achieve Center goals and deliver exemplary customer service. QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing or the equivalent, required. Previous experience within the fitness, health and wellness industry preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidates must have a personal interest and commitment to fitness and wellness with a desire for continuous learning; and understanding for the bottom-line and business approach to job performance. Must have the ability to work in a fast-pace, results-oriented environment, where held accountable for daily planning, performance and customer service expectations. Work Schedule: This position required a flexible schedule including nights and weekend, and average 40 to 43 hours per week. Experienced Personal Trainer / Fitness Coach

This position is responsible for developing safe, structured and motivational personal training programs designed to meet members' individual fitness goals and needs. Also responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the fitness equipment and floor areas. The position offers progression and growth as a trainer/coach through in house training and mentoring programs. Requirements: Current Personal Training Certification. CPR/AED Certified. Previous 1-2 years experience selling and performing Personal Training REQUIRED. Team Oriented. Excel in time management, organizational, and follow up skills. Enthusiastic, energetic, passionate, and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry. BS in Exercise Science or related field to requirements. AA/EEO M/F/D/V
