The Membership Advisor (Fitness Sales) position is responsible for attainment of personal sales quotas in a manner that fosters member retention.
The position involves inside membership sales activities including, but not limited to: self-generation of new membership leads, booking and confirming appointments by phone or internet, conducting center tours, presenting rates, asking for the sale, handling objections, following-up with prospects who did not join.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, generating retail and corporate referrals; participating in internal and external marketing and networking activities to achieve required lead generation targets. Must be a team player who works cooperatively with co-worker to achieve Center goals and deliver exemplary customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing or the equivalent, required. Previous experience within the fitness, health and wellness industry preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Candidates must have a personal interest and commitment to fitness and wellness with a desire for continuous learning; and understanding for the bottom-line and business approach to job performance. Must have the ability to work in a fast-pace, results-oriented environment, where held accountable for daily planning, performance and customer service expectations.
Work Schedule:
This position required a flexible schedule including nights and weekend, and average 40 to 43 hours per week.
