Classes offered at all Healthtrax Locations
A unique way to integrate mind, body, and spirit, without force or competitiveness. This class will guide all levels of students through a flowing asana practice that includes Sun Salutations, and a wide range of standing and seated poses. Your yoga class may incorporate a variety of yoga styles and practices including (but not limited to) Vinyasa and Hatha. Attention is given to breath and proper alignment to promote a healthier lifestyle, relieve stress and increase strength and flexibility.
Strengthen your body from the inside out through Pilates exercise. Focus is placed on the six principles of Pilates exercise including Concentration, Centering, Fluid Movement, Breathing, Controlled Movement, and Breath. A variety of benefits can be earned including increased core strength, muscle balancing, flexibility, joint mobility and posture. Exercise modifications and progression will be offered for all levels of participants.

Barre: Barre is a ballet-inspired sculpting class that combines the best of Pilates with elements of dance, yoga and cardio sculpting. This class incorporates mat work and small accessories — including hand weights, playground balls and resistance bands — to challenge clients at all fitness levels. This is an all-level class.
Pilates Reformer: The Reformer is a spring-loaded, resistance-training apparatus that allows for full range of motion with a smooth-gliding carriage. It can add assistance or resistance to your Pilates regiment. You will strengthen and stretch your entire body, and develop improved balance, muscle tone and alignment, ease of motion and bone density.
Chair Yoga: Experience yoga inspired movements and postures using a chair for sitting or balance when standing. This is a great option for those unable to perform movements on the floor as you will still receive the many benefits of yoga - balance, posture, joint mobility, flexibility and mental clarity.
Gentle Yoga: This milder yoga class is designed for the new yoga student or participants with joint restrictions or limitations. Emphasis is placed on proper alignment, technique and breathing that will enhance one’s flexibility, strength, and posture.
Power Yoga: Take your yoga to another level through Power Yoga! This class features a flowing sequence of poses linked with breath that invigorate your mind and challenge your muscles while simultaneously building stamina, flexibility and greater strength. Experience a supercharged version of yoga energy while getting a tremendous workout.
Qigong: (pronounced chee gong)--is an accent Chinese Healing Art and Body Science. The practice involves a series of slow and dance like postures, which helping direct the Qi( energy) to each body parts and nurturing the organs, bones, muscles, joints. Qigong improves circulation, relieve stress and pain, and restore health. It's practiced widely in China's clinics and hospitals. All levels welcome.
Tai Chi: Tai Chi involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Tai chi, also called tai chi chuan, is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion.
